Thursday, April 28, 2022 27 Nisan 5782

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

This program will take place at the Dion Center, Rivier University, 16 Clement Street in Nashua

In collaboration, Temple Beth Abraham and Rivier University welcome Tom White of the Cohen Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Keene State College, who will present on "Remembrance, Education and Resiliency.”

White will discuss the relevancy of Holocaust and genocide education. How do we use it to promote civic engagement against the escalating violence that leads to atrocity and genocide? How do we identify and confront antisemitism? How do we practice prevention?

In addition to the presentation and a question-and-answer session, there will be a candle-lighting ceremony memorializing Holocaust victims.

Temple Beth Abraham’s Zimria Choir will perform with the Nashua Community Interfaith Choir at this observance.

This event is open to the general public and free of charge. In accordance with Rivier University's policies, everyone who attends must be vaccinated. In accordance with Temple Beth Abraham's policies, there will be separate seating areas where masks are required and where there is the option to remove your mask.
