Southern NH Jewish Men's Club Breakfast - Where Do We Go from Here? The Economy in 2025 and Beyond

Sunday, February 2, 2025 4 Shevat 5785

9:30 AM - 12:00 PMTemple Beth Abraham

“Where Do We Go from Here? The Economy in 2025 and Beyond” will be the topic of discussion by noted Economist and Author and TBA member, Nancy Kimelman, PhD, Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 9:30 AM, LIVE IN PERSON at Temple Beth Abraham. The Southern New Hampshire Jewish Men’s Club is proud to sponsor this very informative and interesting presentation.

Nancy Kimelman received her PhD from Brown University and has been a practicing economist for over 30 years.  She started her career as a monetary economist at the Federal Reserve but is best known for her 20+ years as a financial economist advising investors and traders globally. She now teaches at Tufts and Northeastern Universities. Dr. Kimelman is the author of Common Cents: How the Economy Really Works. As a columnist, she has written for the Financial World and Bloomberg magazines and has appeared often as a commentator on National Public Radio, Bloomberg TV and radio, CNBC, CNN/FN, and Reuters.

With the election behind us, public discourse has shifted to the reality of the policies that are in the wind.  It's the responsibility of economists, such as Dr. Kimelman, to separate the hype from the likely -- and to explain the reasons behind their conclusions. Dr. Kimelman will start with a short assessment of where the economy stands now.

Dr. Kimelman is a very relaxed speaker who always encourages active participation during her talks. It is her hope that everyone in attendance will have a good time, learn a lot, and think more clearly about the issues facing the nation.

Following Dr. Kimelman’s presentation we will have a Question-and-Answer session if necessary. Join us on Sunday, February 2nd for this very timely and interesting talk.
