Red Cross Blood Drive

Tuesday, May 23, 2023 3 Sivan 5783

2:00 PM - 7:00 PM

The Southern New Hampshire Jewish Men’s Club will host a community blood drive in cooperation with the American Red Cross on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm at Temple Beth Abraham, 4 Raymond Street, Nashua, NH.

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.  By rolling up your sleeve, you can play a critical role in the treatment of accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, premature babies, trauma victims and those receiving treatment for leukemia, cancer or sickle cell disease.

Giving the gift of life is easy, simply go to https://www.redcrossblood.org/blood-donor-app.html and download the free Blood Donor App.  From within this easy app you can gain quick access to our Blood Drive by entering the keyword TEMPLEBETH.  You can also visit the American Red Cross website at RedCrossBlood.org and use the same keyword or call 1-800-RED CROSS  (1-800-733-2767).

Whether you use the app or the website, you can make an appointment at a time convenient for you and optionally complete a RapidPass® Health History Questionnaire that will speed up your donation process to less than 45 minutes, start to finish!  Although appointments are not required, they are encouraged.

Hosting a blood drive coincides with The Southern New Hampshire Jewish Men’s Club’s core values of giving back to the community.  With a simple blood donation, we have the ability to help save the life of someone who could be a coworker, loved one or neighbor.

The short amount of time it takes to donate can mean a lifetime to a patient with a serious medical condition. We urge eligible donors to join us in the selfless act of giving blood.

Donors of all blood types are needed, especially those with type O negative, B negative or A negative. According to the Red Cross, type O negative is the universal blood type that can safely be transfused to anyone, and is often used to treat trauma patients.

To make an appointment to donate please visit the website listed above.  For any specific concerns, please feel free to contact me at 603-930-3952 or email: president@snhjmc.org .

Please join us for this important event to support our community!  Thank You!
