Granite State Organizing Project (GSOP) will hold two nonpartisan canvassing events for congregants of the UU Church, Temple Beth Abraham, Main Street United Methodist Church, along with anyone else who is interested on Sunday, September 22 and Sunday, October 20. All canvassing volunteers will begin at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 58 Lowell St. in Nashua at 1:00 pm where GSOP staff will provide a training session for all participants. Paper forms, clipboards, scripts, fliers, and pledge cards will be distributed to canvassers and canvassing turfs will be assigned to people in pairs.

The canvassing will serve multiple purposes: get to know their community, encourage people to vote, and inform people of how to vote absentee, how to find their polling location, and how to register to vote. After going out in Nashua neighborhood we will hold a joint debrief session for all the participants to provide feedback and hear stories about others’ experiences.
