What do you know about your genetic material – and how much do you want to know? On Wednesday evening, Sept. 14, Drs. Stephanie Wolf-Rosenblum and Marissa Baltus will explain how to get reliable screening tests for Jewish genetic diseases such as Gaucher, Cystic Fibrosis and Tay-Sachs, as well as tests for some hereditary cancers. They will also discuss how to manage potential health challenges and issues around privacy. 

Dr. Stephanie Wolf-Rosenblum is a former Chief Medical Officer at Southern NH Medical Center and current Nashua Board of Health member. She holds degrees in medicine and public health. 

Dr. Marissa Baltus is a board-certified internist who has been a primary care doctor  at Lahey Clinic for the past 30 years, where she also teaches medical students and residents. She holds a masters in epidemiology.

Refreshments and kids crafts and snacks will be available.
